The last day for a full refund with a receipt is May 13th for the Maymester 2008 Semester and June 13th for the June Summer session.  All purchases after these dates are final.

** A copy of your schedule is required to verify registration in a return eligible course.  Please print a copy of your schedule before you drop a class!

Textbook Buyback...

Acquiring your own library of textbooks can provide significant benefits as you continue your education...but cash is so much better.

Park Place Bookstore buys used textbooks on a year-round basis.  Simply bring your books in, with a current student ID, and we can let you know the current value.  However, buyback values can and do change frequently.

Here is how it works...

We will pay you 50% of the new price:

  • When the textbook has been adopted by your instructor for the next term.

  • When the bookstore is not overstocked.

We will pay you the National Market Value:

  • When the textbook has not been adopted by your instructor for the next term.

  • When the bookstore is overstocked.

  • When there is a national demand for your book.

What you can do...

In order to get the best price for your book you should:

  • Encourage your instructors to get their orders in early.

  • Sell early - You will usually get the best prices on your books at the beginning of the week of finals.  The more copies of your book we receive the less we are able to pay.

  • Bring all of the extras - Be sure to bring any CD, Cassette, Study Guide, or any other item that came with you book.  We may still buy the book without these extras but the price will be affected.

Additional Information...

We are unable to provide price quotes over the phone due to the frequency of price changes.  We reserve the right to adjust buyback values at anytime.
